Knobby the Horse

The younger children at Hill House had great fun with this horse. The horse already had its unusual name when it was purchased - apparently, it liked sugar knobs!

Seen here with the horse are: Robert William (riding), Stephen George (holding) and John Lane. John was a good playmate of Stephen. His father farmed land a short distance from Hill House.
